A Canadian company, for Canadian paperwork
NimbleSign is built by Nimble Information Strategies, which has been handling documents for Canadian organizations since 2003.
About & leadership on nimble.ca
Why we built it
Nimble has spent two decades running mailrooms, scanning operations and records systems for federal, provincial and enterprise clients. In project after project the same thing happened: a client’s documents moved smoothly through intake, capture and their records system, right up until something needed a signature, and then it stalled into a manual print, sign and scan. Signing was the one gap we kept working around. Every serious e-signature product that could close it was American, and no amount of choosing a Canadian region changes which country’s courts can reach the data.
So we built the Canadian one. NimbleSign closes that gap. It takes a document from sending to a sealed record on the same sovereign infrastructure we already operate for government work, and the signed record flows straight back into the systems it came from, under Canadian law from start to finish.
How we work

Security and compliance
Nimble is compliant with PIPEDA, PHIPA, FIPPA and ITSP.10.033, is SOC 2 Type II audited, and operates three Protected B certified facilities with security-cleared Canadian staff. NimbleSign runs on that infrastructure.
Certifications in fullThe people behind it
Michael Thompson, Daryl Stott, Shawn Morrison and Ailsa Bell lead Nimble, with decades in data capture, document imaging and digital transformation for government and enterprise.

Where is our data kept?
On hardware we own and operate in Canada, and your documents never leave it. There's no third-party cloud in the middle. Only the email or text inviting someone to sign travels the ordinary way, and it carries a link, not the document.
Do signers pay or sign up?
Neither. They open a link, confirm a code and sign. Nothing to install.
Who is NimbleSign for?
Any organization that sends forms out and files them when they come back, and needs to say where they were kept.
What does it cost?
Individual and Team are priced on the pricing page, and you can sign up for either yourself. Enterprise we quote after a short conversation, because it's built around your sites and your systems.
Can we move between plans?
Yes. It's the same product on every plan, so moving up doesn't mean rebuilding anything.
What if we leave?
You take the signed envelopes, the certificates and the history with you.
